Free software, expensive maps
Bought two maps on my iPad. Can sync the program itself with my iPhone, but the maps Ive bought before does not! Have to buy the same product twice, very strange... Any workaround?
It shows Campinas, brazil map 15 years ago. Better keep my tomtom.
2,39 each! Gould be worse - but no hint in the description! This is lame!
No working navigation
Zero usability. Dont buy.
I needed a Map of Tel Aviv and downloaded it using this App. This was 2.69€ wasted. All names on the Map are in hebrew, which i can Not speak nor read. This information should be given before buying the city map. Or an english translation should be included.
guiding option doesnt work - low res. maps - not worth the money ?
As described, you have to download every city map you may need. Thats not the issue, as this is a substitute for the google maps tool. But, at $2.99 each, no thanks. I recommend a free set of maps with "expansions" or at least charge for a state/ province/country depending on data size.
You have to buy each map individually.
Way too many "FIX ME" streets. Waste of money for this map anyway.
Really... Its buggy, and simply a crappy app...
This is finally a REAL map with fully searchable street names and good graphics. For any printed map, I pay more than 2,99, so its not expensive IMO, and I have the worlds maps right there if I need them. Takes a bit of space, though.
Well it was a great idea but the app is the only part of this that is free. Maps seem to cost 3$ ea. Which is not a big deal. Just wish they mentioned that first.
Individual maps get way too expensive if youre interested in many of them. You can find free / cheaper maps elsewhere.
Dont take this out in the middle of the street, you WILL get mugged. Also you have to buy each map u want to view individually, for two bucks each. Better off with google earth if youre a traveller. Or trip advisor, its free.
While Im sure the maps may actually be useful, marking this as a free app when you have to pay for the individual maps is just false advertising.
Its deceptive to call this a free app.
Unlike the presentation of this App, the maps that come with it are not free, and are actually quite expensive given one has to pay for each of them. So what does one get for free? An icon on your Ipod (or Ipad) that will only show you a picture of an old drawing of Europe, if you click on it. Nothing else. You cant even buy a map from there, you have to go back to the Apple store where a list of city maps and their respective price now shows... Highly improper representation. Would give it a minus five if I could.
